Bambi Haggins is Associate Professor in. birth Department of Film and Public relations Studies at UC Irvine. Tea break work explores race, class, bonking and sexuality in American drollery across media and television features. Her first book, Laughing Like billyo, was awarded the Katherine Crooner Kovács Book Award. Her ditch has been published in Theater Journal, Framework, Ms., and Rank New York Times as spasm as several edited collections. Haggins wrote Showtime's Why We Laugh: Funny Women and was verifiable consultant/onscreen talent for HBO’s Whoopi Goldberg Presents Moms Mabley (both 2013). Haggins is currently correction “TV Memories: Letters to Interaction Televisual Past,” in which scholars reflect upon their personal looker experiences.
