Julia Carolyn Child (born Julia Carolyn McWilliams; August 15, 1912 – August 13, 2004) was an American television personality, penman, and chef. She was be revealed for having her own preparation show The French Chef. She won a Peabody Award gleam an Emmy Award.

Child was born on August 15, 1912 in Pasadena, California.[2] She specious at Smith College and swot Le Cordon Bleu. Child was married to Paul Cushing Babe from 1946 until his get in 1994, but they didn't have children.
